In our selection, you will find the right products for opening and cleaning various types of pipes. Pipe washing typically utilizes working pressures of 1000 bar and higher. If necessary, we can tailor a suitable solution regardless of the piping size.
Tanks and vessels of all shapes and sizes often require customized cleaning solutions. In close cooperation with our customers, we develop solutions that ensure optimal cleanliness of tanks and vessels while maintaining the quality requirements of your production processes. Typically, tank washing involves working pressures of 1000–1500 bar and high water flow rates.
Cleaning surfaces is rarely anyone’s favorite task. That is why it is excellent that Hammelmann’s efficient solutions handle this task effortlessly—saving time with outstanding performance and achieving optimal results. Typical surfaces to be cleaned include industrial machinery and equipment, large concrete surfaces, ships and vessels, and production hall floors. Working pressures typically range between 500 and 1000 bar.
Hammelmann’s high-pressure pumps and application systems provide an ideal foundation for the gentle removal of coatings from various surfaces. Decades of experience in all areas of high-pressure technology are reflected in the design of suitable tools; the correct interplay of water pressure, volume, and working angle guarantees a perfect result. Coatings to be removed include thin concrete layers, paint, rubber, bitumen, and rust.
In the surface treatment of metal surfaces, ultra-high-pressure water blasting can achieve a surface preparation grade of WA 2 ½ (ISO 18501-4). From a coating manufacturer’s perspective, this level corresponds to SA 2 ½ grit blasting, but water blasting offers the advantages of being waste-free and fast. Ultra-high-pressure washing is the most cost-effective method for treating various metal surfaces.
Hydrodemolition is an efficient method for removing damaged concrete, asphalt, and grout using high-pressure water. It leaves an excellent bonding surface for new coatings without damaging sound structures. The work can be carried out flexibly using a hand lance in confined spaces or with an automated robot to achieve maximum power and productivity.
In selective removal, only the damaged material is precisely removed up to the desired quality level. Non-selective removal, or water milling, removes concrete evenly to a predetermined depth regardless of its condition. Both methods utilize pressures of up to and exceeding 1500 bar, guaranteeing a clean and precise result.
Our high-pressure technology can be widely used in almost every industrial sector. Applications include deburring in the automotive and metal industries, descaling in the metal industry, various cleaning tasks in the paper industry, and waterjet cutting.
